New horizons

I look to the sky and want to take flight, but something is weighing me down.

I want to take flight and loosen all the shackles that keeping me on the shore.

I want to take flight to fly to new horizons, to leave everything behind that ties me to the past.

I look to the sky, spread my arms and feel the spray of the water on my face.

I feel how the waves take my feet and help me to lose the ground.

Suddenly, it feels like flying, the liberation of the heart and the waves carry me to new horizons.
